Yowamushi Pedal

Recently I just finished an anime entitled Yowamushi Pedal, the impressions it gave me are:

How can cycling be so exciting?

I want to have my own bike and race if possible

I wish I have a character like Sakamichi Onoda, persistence like Shunsuke Imaizumi, leadership like Shingo Kinjou

The anime is very refreshing from the eyes because this is the first time I’ve watched an anime that is in the different field of sports. I’ve watched several sports anime that shows basketball, swimming and football but cycling? This is the first! and I’m very fascinated about it.  This anime really leaves a mark once you’ve finished it, it makes you want to watch more and read the manga. Honestly I seldom read manga because I don’t want to spoil myself, with an anime like this I’m really tempted.

This shows friendship, teamwork, hard work, trusting and believing. Friendship that wherever team you belong, you only act as an enemies in the competition but outside it you are very best of friends. Teamwork, I honestly think that this anime focuses on one’s character achievement but it’s not!, just like what they say there is no I in TEAM. Hard work, Sakamichi Onoda is a first timer when it comes to racing but experienced on bike riding, even though his colleagues already entered some competition before and have their own style of riding, he worked hard to help the team. This anime taught me more to trust my teammates but also myself, believing that even though its impossible to achieve just believe and make it as a motivation.

I will rate this 9.8/10 and I highly recommend it for you to watch. The only negative thing that I can say to this anime is that, one season is not enough to finish a race, I’m waiting patiently for season 4 because at the end of season 3 the race is still not finish
